Perranporth driving center is one of the UK’s only purpose built driver training facility for all aspects of driver training from lorries to cars and bikes.
We have designed with the help and advice of many agencies an almost 7.5 kilometer road network that incorporates full road markings, signage, roundabouts, junctions, parallel parking areas and hill starts, our aim when putting this site together was to make it as close to a public road as possible so anyone using the site will get a real understanding of what it is going to be like to drive normally on the road.
Our site is brilliant for anyone who is keen to pass there test as quickly as they can, or need to brush on old skills if you have been away from driving. But the real benefit is the safe environment away from the usual limitations of a public road, you don't need a license to drive here just a qualified person supervising, allowing us to be Cornwall's first under 17 driving centre.
We welcome anyone from 14 years or older as long as they are supervised by a full UK licensed driver. So if you wanted to bring your 14 year old son or daughter in your own car that’s fine as long as you hold a full UK driving license.
Don’t worry, we now offer full under 17s driver courses with a member of our team in a dual controlled car from as young as 12 years old!
SO THE FIRST TIME YOU USE PERRANPORTH DRIVING CENTRE IT WILL COST £30 AND THEN IT WILL BE £20 PER HOUR THERE AFTER FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS
